In 1994 Gary achieved
the top level of qualification with Guild of Wedding Photographers U.K.
as a "Craftsman" allowing him to use the coveted letters Cr.G.W.P. after
his name. He is also a qualified member of the British Institute of Professional
Photography (B.I.P.P.), and has also qualified with the Master Photographers
Association (M.P.A.) and the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. In 1992 in conjunction with 3 other local businesses Gary was a co-founder of the very successful Association of Wedding Services, a Wirral based group of individual business people all dedicated to providing the best possible service to our customers, we publish a wedding guide called the Pink Book. Gary has won a variety of awards for Wedding photography, Portraits and also Land and Seascapes. He has been an active member of the organising committee for the North West Region of the British Institute of Professional Photographers, helping to organise training and events for fellow local professional photographers. He has served as Chairman for the region and more recently was elected as a one of the 5 National Directors for a two year tenure. Upon retiring from that post recently, his work for the BIPP was recognised with a “Presidential Award” which is one of the highest accolades offered by the BIPP. |
